News – Return to Football Trainings

Pukekohe AFC has now been granted approval from NZ Football and Auckland Council, to start football training in the current Level 2, in a measured and calculated capacity.

There has been no date set for the official start to competitions, but it is hopeful competitions will start late June or early July.  Teams will play July, August and September (with the option to play later than last season) with Council approval.

Trainings will be different than usual for members due to the new club policies and public health measures that are now in place.   If the Club has a member breach these strict conditions, the ENTIRE club will be shut down for trainings, so it is important everyone understands and adheres to the conditions please.

Teams will return to training with a staggered start.  Seniors may start next week (commencing 25/5), Youth the week after Queens Birthday (commencing 2/6) and Juniors in July.  There will be a few things that members need to do differently and these are listed below and on the attached ‘Return to Training’ document.
