By Steve Cox @ 7:20 p.m. :: 164 Views :: 3 Comments :: :: Senior Mens Teams

Ravaged in Riverhills riot….
By Steve Cox @ 8:26 p.m. :: 214 Views :: 1 Comments :: :: Senior Mens Teams
As the fourth goal went in on the stroke of half time this match could go in one of two directions. The second half proved to be the direction we didn’t want to take. Despite pulling an early goal back to build on, we were outplayed, outclassed and taught a footballing lesson.

Out of the frying pan into the fire….
By Steve Cox @ 7:37 a.m. :: 160 Views :: 2 Comments :: :: Senior Mens Teams
After the losing ground in the first league derby of the season the Maroons went into the lion’s den that is Memorial park. Let’s face facts here – Manurewa were second place and a win would put them 1 point behind the leaders (Ngaruawahia) with a game in hand. The Maroons were aiming to improve on the earlier meeting this season where we held them to 0.0 for 60 minutes.

Just when you thought things were going so well….
By Steve Cox @ 8:20 a.m. :: 259 Views :: 7 Comments :: :: Senior Mens Teams
The weather played a big part again for the Maroons on Saturday. With Bledisloe Park being declared an unplayable surface, the decision was taken to reverse the two Franklin derbies. Pukekohe made the short trip over to Massey Park in good form and upbeat after two good outings against Western Springs and Ellerslie. However, in a game of two completely different halves, the Maroons were left with some questions to answer and the season’s first league bragging rights went to the Blues.
