On Saturday the Over 35’s took on Western Springs for a game we needed to win, as Springs were 6 points behind us with 3 games in hand. Springs started well, created early pressure and carved out the game's first chance after five minutes. After a neat 1 -2 in the middle of the park, and an accurate pass found their striker who narrow...

The field was in tip-top condition. Ha yeah right. On a muddy track the Thirds took on bottom of the table Papatoetoe Utd. A game which could have been a banana skin to slip on, especially after they drew 0-0 with the previous top team a couple of weeks ago. Puke proved to be too much for them again though. (We beat them 5-1 in the first round.) ...

A trip to Michaels Ave was changed into a trip to Pt England Reserve for the thirds to take on Ellerslie on Saturday. Pt England Reserve= No open change rooms or toilets... much to our dismay (especially Si's). Just as well it wasn't raining. After a brief warm up on the soggy grass the game started on what was thankfully a firmer pitch, even if i...

The men's thirds took on Bay Olympic Shakers on Saturday, hoping to put back to back wins together for the fist time since the opening 2 rounds. Pukekohe again made a slow start, as seems to be the case with this lot, but solid defending ensured we kept the score to 0-0 as we gained momentum in the game. The opening goal came from a great passing...

The men's third team have started a horrible pattern of win-loss-win-loss-win... hopefully it won't continue all season. The teams 5th game was against Otahuhu Suva at home. The opposition played very unorthadox football and really cancelled out all of our efforts to play a flowing game. In attack they seemed to play 3-3-4 and in defence 5-4-1! It...
