It is once again time to start thinking about the upcoming soccer season. The playing season starts in early April for 2008, however we need to get players registered, teams together and coaches organised over the next few weeks to ensure we are ready on time.
Register by mail and be in to win!
To save you having to attend registration days, we would like to encourage as many players to register for 2008 by mail.
As added incentive, those that register by mail will go in the draw for a $50 Warehouse voucher. Download the registration form here. Registration forms must be completed and received by post, fax or drop-box at clubrooms, by 16 February 2008 to be eligible to win. Fee payment must also be received to be included in the draw.
How to register
If your child/ren will be playing in the upcoming season, please complete the registration form and either:
- Post to Pukekohe AFC, PO Box 629, Pukekohe (with payment)
- Fax to 09 238 9648 (fees paid by internet banking)
- Attend one of our registrations days at the clubrooms:
- Wednesday 23 January 2008 – 5.30pm – 8.00pm
- Wednesday 30 January 2008 – 5.30pm – 8.00pm
- Saturday 16 February 2008 – 9.00am – 12noon
- Drop into drop-box through slot on front door of clubrooms
Again, payment must be enclosed with registration form – if registering at clubrooms, Eftpos will be available.
Membership Fees
Membership fees are based on the following: Midget (5th-6th Grade) $35 • Junior (7th-10th Grade) $55 • Youth (11th Grade ) $75.
The grade your child is playing in is based on the age they will be turning in 2008, eg. If your child truns 9 this year then they will play in 9th Grade.
Preferred method of payment is directly into our bank account via internet banking (please use surname and Pukekohe AFC ID number/s as reference to appear on our bank statement).

Late Registrations
We must have all completed registration forms together with payment of fees, returned by Saturday 16th February so that we can organise teams and grading.
Every effort will be made to accommodate players registered after this date however, we cannot guarantee spaces will be available.
Registration Packs
A registration pack will be given to each player upon registration (or posted for mail registrations) which will include a calendar of events detailing important dates throughout the season and grading etc and other useful information for players.
Purchasing of gear
We are in the process of negotiating with suppliers regarding club teamwear, including playing shorts and socks. We hope to have this finalised prior to registration and intend to have details in the Registration Packs. Please keep an eye on our website for further information regarding gear and other club news.
Coaches & managers wanted
If you are available for coaching or managing a team this year please complete the relevant section on the Registration Form. Pre-season coaching courses will be run so even if you have no coaching experience but would like to give it a go, let us know so we can discuss with you and possibly enrol you in one (or both) of these courses.
We always require additional volunteers for events, fundraising etc so if you are interested in helping out in any way, or know someone who is, we would be grateful if you could indicate this also.
