I had the pleasure of catching up with Paul Smith (AFF Referee Development Officer) at Bledisloe Park on Saturday, 16th of May. The link below is associated to a monthly Referee’s Newsletter “Full Time!”. In the June edition, Paul makes special mention of his trip to Pukekohe AFC, the atmosphere and the quality of three of our Club Based Ref’s that he saw in action.
Congratulations to: Brian McDonald, Michael Botting and Glen Connolly. Paul was very impressed by the high standard you each achieved.
So thank you to all our Club Based Referees. It is pleasing to note the high level of respect (and support) CBR's also receive from AFF.
