Great turnout for Family Fun Day

Big thanks to all those involved in today's Family Fun Day... especially those who helped out in some way. Thank you also to all our sponsors.  Extra big thanks to whoever put in the good word to keep the wet weather away until the day was almost over!

It was wonderful to see club members of all ages, and their families, participating in the days activities.

Cheer and dance groups from Nicky's School of Dance put on performances early in the day, watched by a large crowd.  This was followed by Ronald McDonald's Fun Show, where Ronald entertained with songs and stories, encouraging his audience to join in.

The two womens football games also kicked off at 11.00.  Pukekohe AFC's Division 1 team were unlucky and went down 3-1 to Three Kings, while the Division 3 game between Pukekohe AFC and Tuakau ended in a draw with both teams scoring 2 goals.

A number of 8th Grade teams had Sunday games this weekend to coincide with the Fun Day too.

Throughout the day the Kia Speed Kick Challange tested how fast individuals could kick a ball.  Check out www.kiafootball.co.nz for results.  Younger players also enjoyed playing football in the McDonalds inflatable field.

Photos from the day can be found in the website Photo Gallery.  If you have any photos you would like to include in the gallery please email them to secretary@pukekoheafc.com.
