Allan presented with NRFL award

First team central defender Dave Allan was presented with his Lotto NRFL Men's Division 1 Player of the Year award at the league's end-of-year-function on Saturday night at McLennan Park.

Dave collected his award after playing for the Kia Motors Lotto NRFL AllStars in their 3-2 win over the touring representative side from Football Brisbane.

Dave is also in the squad for the NRFL AllStars next two matches against NZFC franchises Auckland City FC (11 October) and Waikato FC (19 October).

Congratulations Dave. Well done!

well done dave . i was never sure if the football federation was able to peer under the clouds on the south side of the bombays to spot the obvious talent we have had at pukekohe . all we have to do now is make sure none of those auckland snakes slither into the grass at bledisloe and take you away . i'm sure if we cut you you will bleed maroon and i hope it stays that way , well done lad
