The Over 35's came back from the dead with two fantastic Andy Davey goals in the last 12 minutes against a spirited Metro side today.
Metro led 2-1 and fully deserved their lead before Andy equalised with a brave header following a fabulous Dave Benard effort that came back off the post and he completed his hat-trick with a cool finish after rounding the keeper with 6 minutes to go.
This followed his goal just before half time, when he flicked in a Steve Fabrello ICBM.
The game was notable for the miss of the season from Pete Clark from 9 inches out when we were 2-1 behind and everybody was resigned to losing our unbeaten record and shot at the championship at that moment........until the Ormskirk Superstar got going.
2 games to go and the championship is still on.
Well done fella's and big thanks to the Keens and Fabrellos for cheering the lads to victory in Siberian Conditions out West.
