The 11th grade (Blue) Spartans defeated a combative never say die Puke Red team 4-1 on Saturday thereby winning every game in the grading round, scoring 32 goals and conceding 5. Eight of the ten member squad  have scored goals and six have scored mulitple goals. The team is not big in stature but big in skill, heart and a willingness compete to the end. They have developed to play  an attractive atttacking style based on short passing rather than a long ball game.  The Spartans has had great support. Thanks to the parents, caregivers, and supporters who have helped with the whistle, running the line, setting up nets,  pre game  warm ups, and offered encouragement at every turn. We also record our appreciation to the Puke Intermediate for the use of the fields. The Spartans look forward to the next round and promise that they wil play and compete by there credo "to the end."
