A Pukekohe AFC 15th grade side will join five other clubs this weekend in the first step of qualifying for the Manchester United Premier Cup finals held in England.

The Auckland Football Federation qualifying tournament is at Manukau City AFC's Walter Massey Park and Pukekohe join Ellerslie AFC, Central United, Papakura City FC, Bay Olympic, Fencibles United in the race to secure the Auckland berth at the national qualifiers to be held at North Harbour Stadium on April 5/6.

Central United were the 2007 Australasian representatives after winning through the Auckland, New Zealand and Australian qualifying tournaments.

The Manchester United Premier Cup event is for players aged under 15.
