The ladies first team continued their warm-up to the season with a 2-1 victory over MacLeans College at Bledisloe Park on Wednesday night.
Nicole Kraakman's brace in the third of three 30-minute periods was enough to earn the side their first win of their pre-season campaign after a 5-3 loss to Waiuku and a 0-0 draw with Takapuna.
After a slow start in the opening period which saw the visitors take the lead from the penatly spot, the Maroons dug in and began to do what they do best in the second and third periods - find feet and move the ball around.
In doing so they created the equaliser when Nicole was put through on goal and with her trusty left peg, the teenager made no mistake.
Rose's daughter then capped an excellent personal outing with a well-struck second that squirmed its way in between the MacLeans' keeper and the near post.
The ladies complete their warm-up to the season with a game against fellow division one side Bay Olympic at Bledisloe Park on Sunday at 4pm.
