Another night game as a catch up for the team, while the coach was placing toilet rolls in the fridge.

"Blair mate could you take the team tonight? COUGH CHUNDER SPEW SQUIRT...." Its Lee here" COUGH SQUIRT SPEW...Was the call I got at 11am. So after a qiuck call to smart marine to cancel my spot at the soft bait  fishing seminar we were organised. Kind of.

5 min to kick off and only 9 players OH NO....but is that the Wild girls appearing out of the shadows? Lucky for me YES.

1st Half

The game was off to the very quick pace and the ball going fom one end to the other with no real sniff and a goal in any direction. Clendon had 4 subs which they made the most of compared to our 2.

At half time Lisa Holmes had a plan, which was great and would have worked if we had have struck  it

Second Half

This was just a quick as the first half for the first 5 min and was played much the same way the ball up one end then booted down the other and so on. We had a attempt at a goal 1/2 way though the half which was a blinder but save perfectly by Clendon (damn it) then it was our goalies turn with a solid half min attack in the goal box all being saved by that spunky Puke  goalie. The crowd went wild for the last 5 min.....but no goals happened for either team.

Nil All, a good result and a great game, both Goalies got player(s) of the night.

Our whole team played a great game which showed as the walked very very slowing back to HQ. Fantastic effort......might I add my still unblemished coaching, effort still undefeted..I might retire  will I am still on top.

Thanks to the 3 ,YES 3 match officials.

Dont forget the Counties Manukau Cup at Papatoetoe saturday night , great night out for the Family, bus leaves the Club rooms at 4.55pm and only 5 bucks the Wharehouse or Mad Butcher couldnt do better than that!!

Cheers

The Breeze.
