All seven players did themselves proud - Dane wasn't always busy in goal but played strongly and stopped several shots,Georgia and Amil defended strongly and set up play brilliantly, Logan and Andrew were tireless workers in the midfield , Mark and Ben dominated up front.
There was some debate at the end about whether it was 13-2 or 14-2 but that didn't matter. The Tigers coach had it dead right when he said that if the team had played that sort of football and lost he would have been just as proud. This is a team where the strong focus is on improving their football- and they showed it today!
For the record Mark claimed 8 goals and Logan and Ben a handful each ,but to be honest everyone was so wrapped up in watching the great football that no one was really certain who scored what!
Player of the Day was Andrew Sutcliffe who undoubtedly had his strongest game of the season and was busy from beginning to end.
Well done Tigers - a great team effort!!!!!!!
