The final result was 5-3 to the Dolphins, with both teams short of players but not determination. Conditions were terrible but these kids never stopped running and there were some great goals scored from both teams. Spectators cheered on everyone (despite the rain dripping down their backs) and the players were still smiling at the end.
It rained , it blew, it was muddy but there was a game and both teams played it brilliantly - junior football at its best! Thanks Dolphins for a great match ...the teams certainly had the right names for the conditions!
