Seven Pukekohe AFC teenagers have been included in the Auckland Football Federation Talent Development Programme for the U13-U15 age-groups.

The most players selected in one age group comes in the U13 girls category where Hannah Kraakman, Olivia Willetts, Nikita Lieshout, Autumn Morgan and Grace Gill number five of the total squad of 33 players.

Courteney van Lieshout represents her club in the U14 girls age bracket while Natalie Farrell and Amelia Woulfe are included in the U15 girls training squad.

During the 2009 season Hannah, Olivia, Nikita and Courteney all played for the club's women's first team. Autumn and Grace featured for the reserves during the year.

On the boys side, Stephen Ashby-Peckham - who was one of several youngsters recently training with Pukekohe AFC's U19 Napier squad - has been named in the AFF U14 boys training squad.

Pukekohe AFC coaches are also involved with Ian Davidson the head coach of the U14 girls group while Steve Upfold is taking one of the two groups of U13 girls.

The training squads will be working together from early November until mid December and will play several friendly matches against their counterparts from the United Soccer1 and Waikato Bay of Plenty Football federations.

Talented players from each of the training squads will be nominated for New Zealand Football's National Training Centres next year as the next step in the pathway towards representing New Zealand at age-group level.
