10th Tigers Tame Waiuku with Goals Galore
By Roger Goulstone @ 8:05 p.m. :: 293 Views :: 0 Comments :: :: Junior Teams

The rain stopped in time for kick off and the Tigers roared from the start with a goal within minutes. The Tigers had no reserves but even if they had none of the players would have wanted to come off. This was a game where everything that coach Peter Sutcliffe has worked on in training came together. Passes from the back set up sweeping movements with players calling and moving like seasoned veterans, and there was dynamite finishing in front of goal.  In short this was a great performance. Peter summed it up at half time when he asked the team "what can I tell you to improve your game? Nothing - just keep doing what you are doing, the football is great!"
