Tuesday 5 Aside Knock Out

Hi All

Based on feedback I got (thanks Dale, Wiz, Mark & Willy) I've made the draw for Tuesday nights 5 aside knockout games.

I've split the teams into 4 groups based on finishing position in league for 4 different events, Cup, Plate, Bowl and Bedpan (Can't remember what 4th is normally called!).

Benefits of this include:

• Only 3 games so less stress with penalty shoot outs, field movement, etc.
• Teams all play on adjoining fields
• Those on Club side of John Street stay there for evening
• No mismatches eg. Top v bottom

Although I expect the knockout nature of the games will raise the competitiveness of some players (I'm looking at you handsome dude in the mirror ;o), let's all make sure it does not get out of hand.

The competetion is still only a social and friendly event. None of us wants to be the one (or responsible for anybody) having a spoiled xmas on crutches, fractured cheekbone, broken wrists, etc.
