The Pukekohe Ladies 3rd team made their debut in Division 5 earlier today, squaring off against Otahuhu "A" at Bledisloe Park. Containing a blend of youth, experience and no experience, they set about their task of trying to get off to a winning start.

The Over 35's side extended their unbeaten run to 20 games, courtesy of a Graham Spink double at Onehunga yesterday. After huffing and puffing for virtually the entire first half, Puke took the lead after the home keeper spilled the ball for the quintilienth time allowing Graham to (calmly?) slot home. Until this point, Puke had been indebted to keeper Andreus Van Lieshout for a couple of blinding saves to keep the scores level.

The 9th Grade Pukekohe Tigers took on the Manurewa Hurricanes on Saturday. As the season progresses, the team is starting to gel beautifully with slick play more and more evident. Delighted coach Peter Sutcliffe, described Saturday’s performance as the most complete of the season.

The 9th Grade Tigers took all three points with a 4-0 win over Waiuku Leopards, thus moving into the top half of the table.
