Finishing in second at the end of grading and having been forced into playing undefeated Central Utd twice, this Pukekohe girls team whom started with 17 players - about 5 of whom didn't know which side of the field to stand on - had just one negative about the season so far.
A very serious injury to a more experienced player will now see Kayla out for the rest of the season.
The up side means it opens the way for a newer player to step up. Which as you will see in Episode one, more than one stood tall.
This team finished playing 7 games, having won 5 and losing 2 to Central Utd. Scoring 29 goals for and allowing just 7 against (including 3 nil loss in the last game).
Troy the coach was happy with the way the team had come through the grading and was expecting the team to stay in the third division which all felt was appropriate.
