Reserves hit 8 again!

Right, there are two ways I could do this.

1. Write a long, flowing eloquent report on yesterday's game, short on facts but long on waffle, and hope no-one realises I wasn't actually there

2. Write a very brief summary based on what I've actually been told.

I'll go with option2!

The Reserves faced Three Kings yesterday, looking to back up last week's 8 goal hammering of Mangere. Things weren't going quite to plan in the first 45 minutes, with the Maroons going in 3 - 2 down at the half but, like last week, a second half goal blitz saw them run out comfortable winners. Scorers were: Andy Lamborn (3), Steve Upfold (2), Madison Ewing-Reid (2) and Andy Bell.

Can't really argue with 16 goals in two games!

Thanks to Jimmy and Brian McDonald for doing the honours on the sidelines in my absence. Very much appreciated.

The Reserve team have a well deserved break next weekend, due to Easter, and will be back in action again at Mt Albert Ponsonby on the 30th.
