Pukekohe picked up their first point in the Lotto NRFL for more than a season courtesy of their 1-1 draw with Mangere at Bledisloe Park.
Joe Morris opened the scoring for the home side after 13 minutes via a 25-yard thunderbolt but the lead lasted just 60 seconds when new Mangere United recruit Atnesh Prasad restored parity when he dinked the ball home from eight yards out.
Neither side could produce the second goal they needed in a tense second half as Pukekohe got on the board in 2010.
Marcus Bathan earned man-of-the-match for an outstanding effort at centre back.
A huge thanks goes to the vocal supporters who cheered the side on during the match, it made for a great atmosphere and helped the side immensely!
Meanwhile, the Division 1 reserves side were beaten 3-0 by Mangere in the 12.30pm kickoff.
